The Responsible Authority, Lincolnshire County Council, have confirmed that the Greater Lincolnshire Local Nature Recovery Strategies (LNRS) will be published in March 2026, following public consultation in Autumn 2025.
Engagement will continue with key stakeholders and local authorities to develop the strategy.
Progress made
So far there has been significant progress made in the development of the LNRS.
- Completed Step 1 of the Local Habitat Map: Areas of Particular Importance for Biodiversity (national conservation sites, local nature reserves, local wildlife sites and irreplaceable habitats).
- Undertaken engagement with key stakeholders across community, land management, heritage and development sectors.
- Gathered complete, underway and aspirational project data for nature recovery and environmental enhancement projects across Greater Lincolnshire.
